Apple Unveils Back-to-School Promotion Details


Apple announced the detail about this year’s Back to School promotion. Qualified students, parents of students and educators will be offered a free pair of Beats Solo3 or BeatsX when they purchase eligible Mac with education pricing for a limited time.

Eligible Mac models include any MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, or Mac Pro, while the Mac mini and refurbished Macs are not included in the deal. To be specific, customers who buy MacBook, MacBook Pro,iMac or Mac Pro will be given Beats Solo3 as a present, and customers who purchase 10.5/12.9 inch iPad Pro will be offered BeatsX (or Powerbeats3/Solo3 with the price difference being filled).

What’s different from last year is that Apple does not prepare any promotion sales for iPhone. As for the iPad lineup, Apple is taking $20 off the regular price tag on top of the free headphones if customers buy eligible iPad Pro, iPad, and iPad Mini 4.

The special offer is currently available in select countries, including United States, Canada, Mexico, Singapore and some. And it is supposed to expand the coverage after a few weeks to countries like United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands. Faculty, staff, students, and parents of students at higher education institutions that are eligible for the promotion can achieve the offer at Apple’s online store for education, Apple retail stores, and Apple authorized campus stores.

Apple’s Back to School promotion starts today and ends September 25, 2017 in the United States and Canada. The Back to School headphone bundle is in addition to the normal education discount. Students who want to participate in the promotion are required to verify their enrollment or acceptance in a higher education institution.

At the software level, the company is currently introducing students to use its professional application suite for education purposes, which include Final Cut, Logic Pro, Motion, Compressor and MainStage. It also promotes Apple Music discount for students. Eligible students can subscribe to Apple Music for $4.99 per month
