We all know that Apple has launched iPhone 8 lineup, and the iPhone X is coming around the corner in next month. Usually for Apple, it will certainly adjust the sales of lineups in other products, for an example, Apple has already canceled the 256 GB edition of iPhone 7.
For Apple, once the new version of iPhone has come out, it’s natural to make adjustments to the old models, so it’s understandable that the iPhone 7 has been cut down. Apple had made change in iPhone 7 earlier than we thought, according to media reports from US, Apple had canceled the 256 GB edition of iPhone 7 before the release iPhone 8.
The suspend production of iPhone 7 256 GB weather means consumers can only buy the large-capacity edition iPhone from iPhone 8?
As the matter of fact, Apple had made the suspension of sale of 256GB iPhone 7 on September 12, which was exactly the date of Apple’s product unveilings. Its latest document shows that the halt sales aimed at allowing users to purchase the new product iPhone 8, which is limited to upgrade.
As for those who still would like to purchase large-capacity edition of iPhone 7, you can buy it from the some ways, but it will be less and less actually, so who can purchased a iPhone 7 for 256 GB is lucky enough.
As for the reason why Apple doing this, is perhaps has something to do with the sales volume of iPhone 8, a supply-chain source in Taiwan claims that Apple has reduced orders for both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus by around 50% for November and December from media. And the carrier companies such as Verizon, have also hinted that sales of the iPhone are not ideal.
